There was a security officer at the elevators so only hotel guests could get up to the rooms, which was fine for me. There were plenty of drawers and a comfortable window seat. There's also a TV in the bathroom and a flat screen in the bedroom. The bathroom was very large and full of nice towels. Our room had 2 queen beds which were incredibly comfortable. Reds and blues predominate, and there are sculptures hanging from the ceiling. The architecture is more restrained, but the décor is still a bit over the top, for my tastes. The space is utilized well, and the aisles are wide, but not as wide, as those mega-casinos. There was plenty of staff to take your order for drinks and food as well as a pool area bar. Red Rock Casino is smaller, and I would call it more intimate. ![]() The chairs were very comfortable and plentiful. A large circular pool and then 2 large whirpools and several lap pools, one of which was heated. The weather cooperated and we were able to spend the entire day at the pool, which I highly suggest. Station Casinos wouldn't directly admit to 13 Action News that they're not planning to bring back buffets, but in a recent earnings. We had a room that faced the pool which was a great view. There was a large conference going on but the hotel did not feel crowded. We travel to Las Vegas several times a year and this was the first time we stayed off the strip and were glad we did! When I reserved the room, I paid for early check-in since we were coming from the east coast and arrived in Vegas early in the morning. ![]()
